Martha Rosenstein was born and raised in Alaska. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alaska Anchorage. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Washington in Seattle. She currently sees patients in Anchorage, Girdwood, and occasionally in smaller communities in rural Alaska.

Madilyn worked at Alaska Public Media from 2022 to 2026. She was a Program Producer.

Valerie Lake worked at Alaska Public Media from 2017 to 2025. She was the managing producer for Indie Alaska, director for Alaska Insight, and led the video production team. Valerie Lake has previously gone by the names, Valerie Lloyd and Valerie Kern.

Shonti was born in India to teacher parents, who named her a common Indian name which means peace. She has degrees from Oberlin, Boston University and UAA. She began at KSKA as a volunteer in 1978 and has had an acoustic music show ever since, during her tenure as board member (and president), and 13 years on staff as first volunteer coordinator and then operations director along with that for five years. Her current volunteer program is Traveling Music. Shonti is also a professional fiddler, and has several CD’s of original music with her friend Will Putman. She lives in the Valley with her husband Bill Frey, and has two musical children, Kluonie and Devin.

Shiri worked at Alaska Public Media from 2018 to 2026. She was a Multimedia Production and Operations Associate.
