Broadcast Status

Except the following:
🔴 KAKM is experiencing an outage in Homer and Seldovia due to an equipment failure. Our engineers are aware of the issue and are working to restore broadcast services as soon as possible.

🔴 KSKA over the air (FM 91.1 in Anchorage) is experiencing an outage.

🔴 Over-the-air broadcast on KAKM Ch 7 audio is impaired on a limited number of TV receivers. Reports appear tied to older/legacy TV devices. This may be related to operating on a backup transmitter while repairs are made to the main transmitter.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 — We will be performing major network upgrades to improve reliability and bandwidth of our broadcast signals. Expect brief interruptions or outages for KSKA, KAKM (Channel 11), KTOO, ARCS radio feeds, and streaming services. We appreciate your patience as we work to serve you better. In the meantime, you can keep up with your favorite programs using the PBS, NPR, or AKPM apps.
