Dale Tran was a philanthropist and entrepreneur in Anchorage. Dale died unexpectedly in his home on the evening of Jan. 11, 2017 at the age of 42. He spoke with Alaska Public Media in 2015 about his family's experience fleeing from Saigon in 1975, during the Vietnam War.
