Bob Wyatt
Bob Wyatt
Bob came to Alaska Public Media in September, 2009 for a six month stint to “right the technical ship” and help find a permanent replacement for the departed director of engineering. Little did he know he would be that replacement. Bob fell in love with the area and the organization, and opted to stay. Bob began his technical career right out of high school and moved into broadcasting after a 7 year stint in the Navy. He has been involved in engineering management for over 30 years, holding positions with various TV and radio stations in San Francisco, Portland, Spokane, Wenatchee and even Helena, Mt. The highlight of his career to now, has perhaps been having the opportunity of designing and building not one but two complete broadcast facilities, both showcases in their respective locations. Bob looks forward to many more years guiding Alaska Public Media down the digital roadway.
