A woman was found dead in Kwigillingok Monday following the devastating weekend storm that hit the Kuskokwim Delta coast, according to Alaska State Troopers.
The agency said Monday that troopers responded to recover the woman's remains. The woman will be identified after her family is notified, troopers said.
The woman had been among the three people unaccounted for in Kwigillingok. Trooper spokesperson Austin McDaniel said Monday evening that the search continues for the other two.

Kwigillingok was one of the hardest-hit communities in the storm. Kipnuk, roughly 30 miles west, was also battered by high winds and record-breaking flooding, but troopers say everyone from that community has been accounted for.
State officials said a total of 49 communities are reporting impacts from the storm, and 1,400 survivors are being housed across 12 shelters.
Dozens of evacuees from Kwigillingok and Kipnuk were arriving Monday in Bethel, according to the regional tribal health care provider. They're being housed at Bethel's National Guard Armory, which has been turned into a 100-bed shelter.
This is a developing story.
