A Fort Wainwright soldier was found dead at his off-base home in Fairbanks on Saturday afternoon. Fairbanks police say 28-year-old Army Sgt. Philip Brandon Wright from Jacksonville, Florida died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He joined the Army in 2008 and has been stationed around the United States.
