Almost half of teenagers experience a diagnosable mental health condition between 13 and 18. These treatable conditions have a huge impact on the physical and emotional health of Alaska’s youth. The stigma associated with mental health remains one of the biggest barriers to young people seeking effective treatment. On Line One, Prentiss Pemberton hosted a conversation with a group of teens involved with Mental Health Advocacy Through Storytelling.
