Committee Reduces Iditarod Race Purse

Steve Heimel, APRN - AnchorageThe Iditarod Trail Committee has reduced the purse for this year's race. The top finisher will get the same money as last year but the rest of the top 30 will get reduced awards. 71 teams are signed up for this year's race. 55 made it to the finish last year.Download Audio (MP3)
