Board of Game to use means testing for Tier 2 subsistence permits

A Superior court decision has cleared the way for the state Board of Game to use income as part of the criteria used for scoring tier 2 subsistence permits. The board will not use resident's income this year because the court mandated that income consideration must make adjustments for cost of living in various communities--information they don't currently have-- but board members will consider the income guideline in the future.Lori Townsend, APRN - Anchorage
