Talk of Alaska: The growth of renewables in Alaska

Solar and wind projects are providing increasing amounts of energy to Alaskan communities. Improved efficiencies, less pollution and independence from relying on expensive fuel shipments are making renewable systems attractive to urban and rural Alaskans.
