Unalaska resident Patrick Lee was one of the 39 passengers on board the PenAir flight that went off the runway after landing in Unalaska Thursday.
Lee was traveling home from Idaho with his wife, daughter and granddaughter. He says the weather at the time was decent, and when the plane first hit the runway, the landing seemed okay — but that quickly changed.
