Berkowitz Campaign Battling RGA Advertising

Steve Heimel, APRN - AnchorageThis morning the Democratic gubernatorial campaign of Ethan Berkowitz goes into court to challenge a large advertising buy by the Republican Governor's Association for incumbent Republican Sean Parnell.  The suit cites more than a quarter million dollars of expenditures it claims are illegal.  It says the RGA is not truly independent from the Parnell campaign because Parnell himself is a member of the Association.  And it says RGA should be fined because it has not registered as a political action group with the Alaska Public Offices Commission.Download Audio (MP3)
