Line One: Thyroid nodules and cancer

The thyroid is a small butterfly shaped gland at the base of the neck. The thyroid can be hypoactive or hyperactive and can produce nodules. Most thyroid nodules are not serious and do not cause symptoms, but a small percentage of thyroid nodules are cancerous. We explore the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid nodules and cancer.

Dr. Justin Clark was born and raised in San Diego, California. He grew up as an avid tennis player and enjoyed golf, hiking, fishing, and camping. In college he played tennis and rowed crew at Oxford University in England. He has traveled extensively throughout North America, South America, Europe, Africa and Asia.
