Two teenagers were killed over the weekend in separate shooting incidents in Anchorage.
At around 2:00 a.m. Saturday, Anchorage Police were notified that 18-year-old Elijah Zeller was dropped off at an area hospital with a gunshot wound.
Zeller was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
APD is investigating Zeller’s death as a homicide.
Officers responded to the weekend’s second fatal shooting just after 2 a.m. Sunday, after receiving a call of shots fired near the intersection of 4th Avenue and Newell Street.
When APD arrived on-scene, officers discovered 17-year-old Xeryus Tate dead in the street.
Anchorage Police say the shooting does not appear to be random.
Zeller’s and Tate’s next of kin have been notified.
No arrests have been made in either case.
Sunday’s homicide was Anchorage’s fourth in five days.

A teenager was found shot to death early Sunday on the Anchorage’s east side.
The 17-year-old boy was identified as Xeryus Tate. Police say their initial investigation indicates the shooting was not random.
Police just after 2 a.m. took a call reporting a disturbance and shots fired.
They found the boy dead of gunshot wounds in the area of east Sixth Avenue and Newell Street.
No one was been arrested.
The death is the third fatal Anchorage shooting in three days.
