Winds could reach 90 miles per hour along Turnagain Arm and the upper hillside areas of town. Winds could reach 40 miles per hour in East Anchorage. There were only a few reports of power outages on Sunday morning but power had been quickly restored. The area had braced itself for another wind storm like the one that had knocked out power throughout the region earlier in the month.
