Parnell Begins Looking Over State Budget

The vetoes are beginning to come from Governor Sean Parnell.  Late last week he vetoed a bill to extend the termination dates for several state boards and commissions because it contained language he characterized as “overly broad” barring a convicted felon from serving on state boards.  Parnell said there was no legislative committee record established for that language.
