Missing Talkeetna Musher Found

Two days after the search for her was called off,  Talkeetna musher Melanie Gould contacted police on Saturday.  The Iditarod veteran had been missing for more than a week.  Alaska state troopers conducted a search for Gould in an area near Cantwell,  where her truck was found.  Gould was taken to a Matanuska Susitna area hospital on Saturday.  Trooper spokeswoman Megan Peters would not give Gould’s condition or say where she was found.
