National leaders of the Russian Orthodox Church are ordering Alaska Bishop Nikolai Soraich to take a leave of absence, and say they will investigate him for improper leadership. The announcement was made this afternoon. According to a posting on the 'Orthodox Church of America' website, Bishop Nikolai refused to voluntarily go on leave, which led to today's mandatory order.David Shurtleff, APRN - Anchorage
