Walrus Commission sees adaptive population; ponders environmental impacts

Reports of walrus haul-outs along Alaska’s northern coast due to record low Arctic sea ice are viewed by the Eskimo Walrus Commission (EWC) as a sign of animal adaptation and resiliency.
