The deployment ceremony for 3,500 soldiers from the Army's 425th Airborne happened Tuesday at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. They are bound for Afghanistan in their third deployment since the Fourth Brigade was activated in 2005 - one to Iraq and two to Afghanistan.
