A man was hit by a train in Fairbanks. Police report that the individual was lying on the tracks in the Old Steese retail area Tuesday. Fairbanks Police Sergeant Gregory Foster says an Alaska Railroad Train struck and ran over the inebriated man at about 1:50 a.m.
The area has some brush and is between stores and homeless camping places.
