Multimedia Producer

Alaska Public Media is looking for a Multimedia Producer to join our content team. The Multimedia Producer participates in all aspects of television and digital video production, distribution, and production processes at AKPM.

The salary range is $53k - $55k annually depending on experience.

Alaska Desk Reporter - Unalaska, Sand Point or Saint Paul

Alaska Public Media is hiring a reporter for its statewide reporting initiative called the Alaska Desk. This initiative is aimed at enhancing the public radio network’s statewide coverage by addressing news deserts and increasing collaboration across more than a dozen stations. The reporter will be based at KUCB in Unalaska, KSDP in Sand Point or KUHB in St. Paul.

The salary is $55,400.

Broadcast Engineer

Primary duties include the support of broadcast stations KAKM-TV, KSKA-FM, and the statewide satellite news network. Support includes all inside and outside plant supervision and maintenance. Alaska Public Media is the source of NPR radio, PBS television for South Central Alaska and stewards of the statewide news.

The Broadcast Engineer will, as a member of a team, provide the skills necessary to synthesize and implement the technical policies of the station.
