As a polar bear biologist with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Eric Regehr conducts hands on research with polar bears in the Arctic in an effort to better understand the impacts of disappearing sea ice on the bears who depend on sea ice for survival. Regehr's research, which he presented at the Campbell Creek Science Center in Anchorage shows polar bears populations mirror the declining ice which continues to melt a rapid rate.
