Two Anchorage Adolescents Arrested In Armed Robbery

Anchorage Police have arrested two boys, 12 and 13 years old, for the armed robbery of a Shell gas station.

The robbery took place Wednesday when allegedly the 12 year-old at gunpoint took an undisclosed amount of cash from the clerk.  They were arrested at a Fairview residence.

Police say the 12 year-old is listed as a runaway.  The 13-year-old is considered an accomplice. Both were charged with Robbery 1st degree.

The two were taken to McLaughlin Youth Center.

Because they are juveniles, their names cannot be released.
