TitleVII logoEducation Secretary Arne Duncan is banking on an Anchorage School District program aimed at preventing dropouts to serve as a model for school districts across the nation. This week on Hometown, Alaska, find out more about a new program designed to help Alaska Native students at risk of dropping out and to assist those who have already done so to earn their high school graduation requirements. ASD Superintendent, Carol Comeau and Doreen Brown from the ASD Indian Education Program join host Ellen Lockyer this afternoon at 2:00 pm on Hometown, Alaska.
