Today we’re getting crafty for the holidays. Natasha Price has been making handmade gifts as far back as she can remember. She’s been sewing since she was three, knitting since she was six, and documenting her DIY projects on her blog for about four years.

The Christmas Star
On their first Christmas together, my parents purchased a simple red aluminum foil star for the top of their small tabletop Christmas tree.
In the snapshot they stand on either side of the tree. The star has a large hole in the center, obviously meant for a tree light to be inserted from the back.

Today we’re checking out music videos. Alaskan songwriter Marian Call recently released the first music video for her 2011 album Something Fierce.
Call says the video began last year as part of her Kickstarter campaign, when she took a poll from her fans.
The Gentle Giants
The Carriage Wheel Ranch in Chugiak, Alaska is home to the Gentle Giants, six black Percheron draft horses.
The associated Horse-Drawn Carriage Company, owned by Jon Nauman, has been offering carriage, sleigh and wagon rides to Alaskans for nearly 40 years.
