Host of NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday is coming to Anchorage this week for the Fur Rondy celebration and to meet you! As part of the APRN Speaker Series, we’re hosting a meet-and- greet with Liane this Friday, March 4th at UAA’s Wendy Williamson auditorium. There will be refreshments and photos from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. Then Liane will join KSKA’s Pat Yack for an on stage conversation about her work at NPR from 7:00 – 8:00 pm.
Anchorage will be one of the many stops on Liane’s farewell tour, so make sure to get your tickets.
On Friday afternoon, Liane will be live on-air with KSKA’s Charles Wohlforth for a special edition of Hometown, Alaska on KSKA. If you can’t join us in person on Friday night, make sure to tune in Friday afternoon 2:00 – 3:00 pm and say hello to NPR’s Liane Hansen on Hometown, Alaska.
