Anchorage has eight individuals running for school board in the April 4 election. Today’s Hometown Alaska features live interviews with seven of them; Christopher Jamison did not respond to an invitation to participate.
The show’s normal call-in format is slightly different today; Hometown Alaska won’t take listeners calls during the show to allow us to move through seven candidate interviews in the hour. However, Hometown Alaska solicited questions in advance from listeners and community councils in Anchorage. Each candidate will have seven minutes to work through the questions as posed by host Kathleen McCoy.
Please join us for this important opportunity to hear candidates’ perspectives on how the school board manages the budget gap, addresses achievement disparities, works toward its goals for 2020, and more.
HOST: Kathleen McCoy
