Togiak Police Officer Arrested for Sexual Abuse of a Minor

A recently hired Togiak village police officer is under arrest for the sexual abuse of a minor. Authorities say Daniel Gonzales, 22, admitted that he had sex with a 16-year-old girl in the front seat of his patrol vehicle on Oct. 21.

3 Kwethluk Men Charged With Sexual Abuse Of Minors

Three men from Kwethluk have been arrested and charged with felony sexual abuse. A grand jury indictment on Thursday led the arrest of 23-year-old John Olick, 56-year-old Nick Epchook Junior, and 31-year-old John Fischer.

The idea of a shared park between Russia and the United States has – in recent years – been discussed in levels as high as the White House. Miller Allowed To Use Campaign Funds To Appeal $84,000 Judgment

The Federal Election Commission ruled today that U.S. Senate candidate Joe Miller can use campaign funds to appeal an $84,000 judgment arising from a campaign related lawsuit. The FEC, though, stopped short of saying a candidate can use campaign money to pay a penalty arising from his own bad conduct in a court case. That distinction probably won’t matter to Miller.
