From the time I heard that she was ill, and since she passed, I spent a lot of time thinking about the dynamo that was Pauline and the times when our paths crossed. Pauline and I were friends, but not best friends. We didn’t hang out together, giggle about boys, or share our innermost teenage angst. 3 Kwethluk Men Charged With Sexual Abuse Of Minors

Three men from Kwethluk have been arrested and charged with felony sexual abuse. A grand jury indictment on Thursday led the arrest of 23-year-old John Olick, 56-year-old Nick Epchook Junior, and 31-year-old John Fischer.

Tesoro To Begin Construction Of Cook Inlet Pipeline Next Year

Construction on a sub-sea pipeline to bring crude from the west side of Cook Inlet to Nikiski could start as early as next May. The project that’s been submitted to the Department of Natural Resources for consideration is basically the same as the one Cook Inlet Energy pitched last year; a 29 mile long, 8 inch diameter, U-shaped pipeline, joining production facilities at Kustatan with refining operations in Nikiski.
