Eklutna, Inc, the Alaska Native corporation there, has requested Municipality of Anchorage approval to create a site for what the corporation is calling an "inert waste monofill" , but outraged neighbors are calling a "garbage dump".

Study Finds Increasing Wildfire Frequency
