Protecting vulnerable Children across our vast state is an enormous job that is difficult, complex and often quite contentious. Protecting Children by removing them from their home’s is a painful and confusing time for children and their families and is reserved as a measure of last resort.
What happens when a child has been removed? What is the process after a CINA case has been opened? And, what are the roles and responsibilities of the various agencies who participate in this process?
