Alaska Film Group

The Alaska Film Group is a nonprofit trade industry group that promotes the film and television industry in Alaska. Our group was instrumental in helping to get passage of the original Film Incentive Legislation and most recently the 10 year extension of the Film Incentive. This incentive is crucial to bringing productions to Alaska. The film and tv industry in Alaska diversifies our economy, provides jobs, brings in additional revenue to our state, and creates more business opportunities for Alaska companies and service providers. We are committed to building our infrastructure and increasing our crew base so Alaska is a desirable filming location. The group has been in existence since 1991.
