Education and Community Outreach Associate
Mason Galemore is the Education and Community Outreach Associate for Alaska Public Media. He works with the department to provide educational materials and promotes PBS Kids programs such as Molly of Denali. Originally from Missouri, Mason grew up in a rural community and developed a curiosity for all things remote and off the beaten path.
He majored in Journalism at Murray State University in Kentucky and worked as a student reporter for WKMS, an NPR affiliate radio station. He covered local politics, culture and environmental issues.
He joined the Education and Community Outreach team to hone his education skills and to help those with early education. He enjoys hiking, fishing, reading, attending concerts and trying new coffee shops.
