Trump campaign reveals list of Alaska Republican co-chairs and supporters

Alaska Republican leaders from all parts of the GOP spectrum are uniting behind Donald Trump for president. On Monday, the Trump campaign’s Alaska branch released a list of honorary co-chairs. It includes legislators Mike Chenault and Lesil McGuire , as well as former Lieutenant Gov. Loren Leman. Anchorage Baptist Temple pastor Jerry Prevo and conservative talk-radio host Glen Biegel are on the list, as is former Alaska Commerce Commissioner Paul Fuhs.

Some of the two dozen Alaska co-chairs previously supported Trump’s Republican rivals. State campaign chairman Jim Crawford says they understand the importance of Republican solidarity in winning the White House.

Not on the list of Trump co-chairs? Any member of Alaska’s congressional delegation.

The state Trump campaign also announced its platform committee, which it says will help shape Trump’s Alaska policy. It includes former Lt. Gov. Mead Treadwell, former state Senate president Drue Pearce, and former Anchorage Mayor Rick Mystrom.
