Today KSKA celebrates Winter Solstice with two special holiday programs. From 2:00 – 4:00 PM enjoy The Christmas Revels: In celebration of the Winter Solstice, a delightful compilation of country dance tunes, carols, songs and motets excerpted from nine unique Revels celebrations performed across the country each year. And at 10:00 PM, hear Echoes Sonic Seasonings – four live performances, each evoking a winter landscape.
Holiday programming including, Hanukkah Lights 2008, Alaska Chamber Singers Christmas, Season’s Griot, Merry Christmas from Alaska and New Year’s Day from Vienna 2009 continues on KSKA through New Year’s Day 2009.
