Perseverance Theatre Coming to Anchorage
After 31 years of professional theater in Juneau, Perseverance Theatre will run it's first season of plays in Anchorage in 2012. This week Stage Talk, artistic director, Art Rotch and Bostin Christopher stop by to talk about the history of the Perseverance Theatre and the two shows coming to the Performing Arts Center in February and April of 2012.

TBA Theater Presents Dracula and Frankiestein, Jr.
This week on Stage Talk, host Jean Paal chats with Shane Mitchell and Billy Worthy about TBA's two upcoming Halloween productions. For the little ones, Frankie Stein Junior takes science fair projects to new heights. Dracula audiences on the other hand can expect a good scare with lots biting, blood and fangs. The original Dracula script was written by director, Shane Mitchell.

The Woman in Black at VPA

Carnival at Cyrano’s
Local baton twirlers, plate spinners, clowns, puppeteers and jugglers will all come together on stage for Cyrano's upcoming production of Carnival. There is a juggling coach, magic coach, and voice coach - Janet Carr-Campbell who works with the puppeteers. This week on Stage Talk, Janet joins hosts Mark and Jean along with director, Bill Fabris.

Arsenic and Old Lace at ACT
When ACT presented this play in 1959, horror film-actor Boris Karloff starred as Johnathan, a fool hardy murderer working with his two elderly aunts Abby and Martha. Local actress, Linda Benson who plays aunt 'Martha' and director, Kevin Bennett join hosts Mark and Jean on Stage Talk to talk about ACT's latest production on Arsenic and Old Ace, opening Friday, Sept. 30.
