2014 Summer of Heroes Program to Honor Local Youth
Alaska Communications and Boys & Girls Clubs – Alaska are coming together again for the fourth annual Summer of Heroes program to recognize local youth making a difference in their local communities.
The search is on for five young Alaskan heroes, plus one from the Employee Program, who are going above and beyond to make an impact in the lives of others.

The 22nd annual Trick or Treat Town returns to Anchorage Oct. 25-26 and promises to be the most fun and exciting Halloween event of the year.
Trick or Treat Town is a family-friendly Halloween celebration that provides a safe, warm environment for little ghosts and goblins to trick or treat in their costumes.

“Summer of Heroes” Scholarship Program to Honor Local Youth
Calling all heroes! Nominations are now open for Alaska Communications’ second annual “Summer of Heroes” partnership program with Boys & Girls Clubs – Alaska.
In recognition of local youth who make a difference in Alaska communities, the company will select and award five young Alaskan heroes with $1,500 scholarships and a trip to the Alaska State Fair.
