Anchorage man in custody for Ft. Lauderdale airport shooting

The FBI said an Anchorage man opened fire at the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida airport this morning. The Broward County Sheriff's office said 26-year-old Esteban Santiago killed five people and wounded eight others. Listen now

Ft. Lauderdale shooter lived in Anchorage

A man believed to have been living in Anchorage opened fire at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport this morning -- killing five and injuring eight according to the Broward County Sheriff's office.

On Monday morning, Fairbanks International Airport Police Officers arrested 40-year-old Kevin Trask, who had been on the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's most wanted list, and was evading police since 2012.

An Anchorage teacher was surprised to learn today that he was the recipient of the Milken Educator award from the Milken Family Foundation. The Milken Family Foundation is a national group whose goals are improving education, public health, and medical research. Anchorage man accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a minor

On Wednesday, an Anchorage grand jury charged 63-year-old Paul Allen Harris on one count of kidnapping, two counts of sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree and one count of sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree. Listen Now
