Amateur Mushing

Iditarod dog teams have as much in common with your pet as an Indy car and a tricycle, but there is something in between. Dog mushing is a recreational sport for families, too. Pediatric Bipolar Disorder

Bipolar Disorder is a serious mental health issue and the use of it as a diagnosis for our youth is on the rise. The medications used to treat this disorder have significant side effects and the long term effects on brain development are not well known. Shakespeare Bard-A-Thon

This month on Alaska Radio Reader Rambler, Sandy and Dick host Jessica Jacob and Elizabeth Ware, organizers of Anchorage's first 24-hour Shakespeare Bard-A-Thon. UAA, Out North, Alaska Theatre of Youth and Cyrano's will each host a 6 hour segment of Shakespeare play readings organized into historical plays, ghost stories, youth and mischief and finally comedies.
