Fish camps are all about family. After taking a look across the Kobuk River from the village of Noorvik, AK you can see fish camp after fish camp lining the bank.
A short boat ride across the river brings us to the Pungalik’s fish camp, where we are greeted by the entire family. Kids are running around, playing near the camp and in the boats that are tied up next to the camp while those old enough to work get the fish ready to dry.
