The executive director of the state Redistricting Board is dead. Ron Miller’s death Sunday was unexpected, and will make the already hectic redistricting process even more difficult. The Redistricting Board had its last hearing on Friday. Ron Miller was 65. The cause of his death is an apparent heart attack. He had served in a number of government positions, including director of the Industrial Development and Export Authority.
