An Alaska man is among the missing in Japan. Monty Dickson’s family has not heard from him since he made a phone call from a town shortly before it was hit by a 30-foot tidal wave. Dickson, 26, was living in Japan and teaching English. Communications are still fragmentary, the destruction was enormous, the family still holds out hope that he will be found.
