t lady Neva Egan died in the Juneau Pioneer home at the age of 96 Wednesday night. Her husband Bill was a Valdez grocer who became the state’s first governor. Rosemarie Alexander at member station KTOO found an interview recorded with Neva Egan at the age of 90, and has the story.
