The state Supreme Court Friday ruled that it is proper for the Division of Elections to offer assistance to voters who request the names of write-in candidates. Meanwhile, Anchorage talk show host Dan Fagan was taken off the air for urging people to sign up as write-in candidates, especially if they had a name similar to Lisa Murkowski’s.
The campaigns are going into their final day now, with barrages of advertisements, many of them negative, and all sorts of telephone calling, including recorded messages from former President Bill Clinton.
