A 42-year-old Kake man died in a bicycle crash in his Southeast Alaska village.
Alaska State Troopers say on Saturday Roderick D. Cavanaugh was riding a bicycle down a steep and failed to navigate a turn, smashing into a telephone pole.
Cavanaugh was not wearing a helmet and troopers say alcohol use was involved.
