Today was Black Friday, the traditional post-Thanksgiving start to the holiday shopping season. In Anchorage, at least one store opened at 4:00 a.m. and several others unlocked their doors at 5:00. Irresistible bargains produced impressive lines and most likely, some endangered family budgets.
