Anchorage’s Mark McKenna and Eagle River’s Eric Quam won the Iron Dog snowmachine race on Saturday. The team will take home $25,000 for the win and another $5,000 in bonus prizes. Rough trail and mechanical trouble knocked out more than half of the race teams, and for the rest, getting to the finish line was a matter of luck and survival.Tim Bodony, KIYU - Galena
