It’s been an especially good winter for aurora viewing in Alaska, and that’s great news for the man known as the aurora hunter. Todd Salat discovered his passion for aurora viewing two decades ago. Since then, he's slowly built up a successful business capturing incredible aurora images in photos and video.

Recovered Polar Bear Cub At Alaska Zoo

In the 1970's biologists did reconnaissance of offshore islands throughout Alaska's coastal areas to determine abundance and distribution of marine mammals and birds to help select lands for new refuges, parks, and monuments that would be created under the 1980 Alaska Lands Act. A Commercial Fisherman in the Rap Game
