KAKM-TV over-the-air broadcast in communities on the Kenai Peninsula are currently experiencing service disruptions due to ongoing power outages impacting our transmitter. Live streaming is available through alaskapublic.org, PBS.org, PBS App, AKPM App, and PBS KIDS video app.
The 10 Alaskans killed in the crash near Nome include a mentor to new teachers, a school counselor and two Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium employees traveling to service a local water plant.
